Community testing in April 2026 confirmed that both ways to start using Amazon ElastiCache fail from Syria: new AWS account signup returns a Website Temporarily Unavailable error and the AWS console returns a 400 Access Restricted geo-block, while only the marketing page loads. The block has been verified by community reports, with no outreach to the company recorded for ElastiCache yet.
