Investigated
Community testing confirmed that League of Legends: Wild Rift is unplayable from Syria. The game's storefront listing is reachable, but launching the title without a VPN fails, and even when routed through a VPN the in-game client returns a network-verification error and blocks login.
You can help change this. Syria's political situation has changed—all sanctions have been lifted. Many companies just haven't updated their policies yet. If you work at League of Legends: Wild Rift or know someone who does, share our resources with their legal or compliance team. Sometimes all it takes is one person asking the right question.
Tips for advocating: Reach out to legal, compliance, or policy teams. Reference the lifted sanctions. Point to competitors who have already unblocked Syria. Every voice matters.
