On meta.ai in a mobile browser, a question sent to the assistant received a full answer. The reporter says only the website works; the separate app does not.

Landing pageWorks

The reporter says the Meta AI website loads and works normally from Syria.

Sign-upWorks

A Syrian phone number was accepted at sign-up and routed to a verification-code step, but the SMS code never arrived; switching to a personal email address sent a code immediately and the account was confirmed.
