Frequently Asked Questions

No, CCleaner is currently blocked in Syria. Users in Syria cannot access this service. We are tracking the situation and advocating for change.

Most likely a company policy that has not caught up with the law. The US sanctions program on Syria ended on 1 July 2025, the EU lifted its economic sanctions in May 2025, and Syria was removed from the US list of State Sponsors of Terrorism in August 2026. Many companies set their Syria restrictions before these changes and have not updated them. This page shows the evidence we have for CCleaner and any reply from the company.

You can help by voting on this page to show demand, sharing it on social media, and contacting CCleaner directly to request they restore access for Syrian users.
