Another community volunteer wrote to Notion's support at team@makenotion.com, asking whether it is reviewing its Syria restriction in light of changes to US sanctions and requesting that its legal and compliance teams look into it.

Writing from the address on the account to verify ownership, the volunteer answered all three questions: sign-in and workspace access both fail from Syrian IP addresses, the affected users are in Syria, and no billing is tied to another restricted country.
