Investigated
Community testing confirmed that Linktree is blocked in Syria. Accessing linktr.ee from a Syrian IP on mobile returns a region-restriction page stating: "Sorry, our service is currently not available in your region." The block applies to the entire service with no partial access.
You can help change this. Syria's political situation has changed—all sanctions have been lifted. Many companies just haven't updated their policies yet. If you work at Linktree or know someone who does, share our resources with their legal or compliance team. Sometimes all it takes is one person asking the right question.
Tips for advocating: Reach out to legal, compliance, or policy teams. Reference the lifted sanctions. Point to competitors who have already unblocked Syria. Every voice matters.
