ING is blocked in Syria. Community testing in July 2026 found that ing.com returns an Akamai "Access Denied" page (errors.edgesuite.net) from a Syrian mobile connection, and the ING mobile app fails with a generic error. The block is a server-side Akamai CDN geo-restriction covering the main ING Group site. No outreach to the company has been made yet.

You can help change this. Syria's political situation has changed—all sanctions have been lifted. Many companies just haven't updated their policies yet.
