Earlier that month Syrian IP addresses had been blocked from the project's infrastructure and forums, after which the Fedora Council reviewed its export control policy following the lifting of U.S. sanctions. The infrastructure team then removed the IP blocks, restoring Linux downloads, package repositories, and account systems for users in Syria.
