## About

Commission marketplace where clients hire illustrators and digital artists directly, with briefs, payments, and delivery handled in-platform

## Activity summary

Restricted for users in Syria. VGen said in September 2026 that its payment processors, PayPal and Stripe, do not support payouts to Syria, and it has passed the request to an internal team for review.

## Progress timeline

- 2026-09-04 — Under Company Review (Community Updates). VGen said it would ask its payment processors about any change to Syria support and had forwarded the request to the appropriate internal team for further review. It gave no timeline, saying availability is outside its direct control.
- 2026-09-03 — Company Responded (Community Updates). VGen replied that payouts to Syria are limited by its payment processors, PayPal and Stripe, neither of which supports Syria as a payout country, so it cannot offer Syria as a payout option. It said it monitors for change.

## Context

These are geo-restrictions the companies applied themselves, not filtering by Syrian ISPs and not a legal requirement. US and EU sanctions on Syria were lifted in 2025.
