## About

Cycling training app with structured indoor and outdoor workouts, adaptive training plans and smart trainer control

## Activity summary

Availability in Syria is unknown. In October 2026 TrainerRoad told a Syrian cyclist that nothing on its side blocks athletes in Syria, though its payment processor may decline Syrian cards.

## Progress timeline

- 2026-10-13 — Company Responded (Community Updates). TrainerRoad support said nothing on its side blocks athletes in Syria, with no country restriction on sign-up, sign-in or the apps, but its payment processor may decline Syrian cards or billing addresses.
- 2026-10-13 — Contacted Company (Community Updates). A Syrian competitive cyclist asked TrainerRoad whether Syrian users can create accounts, sign in, ride workouts, connect trainers and pay, and to have any Syria restriction reviewed.

## Context

These are geo-restrictions the companies applied themselves, not filtering by Syrian ISPs and not a legal requirement. US and EU sanctions on Syria were lifted in 2025. See https://unblocksyria.com/llms.txt for the regulatory summary and https://unblocksyria.com/en/about for citations to the specific orders and regulations.
