Restricted in Syria as of July 2026. The service was blocked in June 2026 and restored on 15 July, confirmed by two independent community reports across desktop web, mobile web, the Android app and PlayStation 5. Browsing and gameplay work, but Syria's +963 dialling code is missing from the phone verification list, so Syrian numbers cannot complete SMS or WhatsApp verification and two-factor authentication stays out of reach. A volunteer raised this with the company on 29 July.

A community volunteer emailed Roblox's legal team at legal@roblox.com reporting that Syria's international dialling code (+963) is missing from the country code selector used to add and verify a phone number in Roblox account settings, with the list skipping to adjacent entries such as +239. As a result, users with Syrian numbers cannot complete SMS or WhatsApp verification, which blocks two-factor authentication and any platform feature requiring a verified phone number. The volunteer attached a screenshot of the account settings interface and asked that the prefix be added. Roblox itself remains accessible from Syria.

Roblox is accessible from Syria again, confirmed by two independent community reports on 15 July 2026 covering desktop web, mobile web, the Android app, and PlayStation 5.
