This is the first outreach to Kaspersky regarding the Syria blocking issue.
- 2026-02-16 — Verified. Community testing reveals Kaspersky has limited functionality from Syria. While the Kaspersky website appears accessible, the desktop antivirus application fails to connect to Kaspersky's servers during installation, displaying a "Check your internet connection" error despite the Mac having an active internet connection. The software cannot activate or receive updates from Syria. Status change from accessible to limited.
