Multiple community volunteers independently emailed Take-Two Interactive's privacy team at privacypolicy@take2games.com requesting that service access be enabled for users in Syria. Four separate emails were sent within minutes, all referencing the December 2025 OFAC sanctions lift and EU sanctions revision, with supporting documentation from unblocksyria.com/resources. This coordinated community effort represents the first outreach to Take-Two regarding FiveM and related services.
- 2026-02-16 — Investigated. Tested from Syria on Android mobile using Chrome. The FiveM portal (portal.cfx.re) returns ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED, indicating the connection was unexpectedly terminated.
