- 2026-03-20 — Investigated. Community testing confirmed that Deliveroo is restricted for users in Syria. The homepage loads for all nine supported country domains, but Syria is not among the available countries. Sign-up requires a phone number from a supported country, and Syrian numbers are not accepted. The merchant partner portal at merchants.deliveroo.com returns a 403 Forbidden error. Browsing restaurants and menus works when a supported location (e.g., Dubai) is selected, but orders cannot be placed. Job applications on the careers page work with a Syrian phone number. The Deliveroo for Work portal loads but sign-up fails due to the same phone restriction. The Android mobile app displays "We're not there yet" for Syrian locations, and the email notification form returns an error. Testing was conducted across all Syrian ISPs.
